1. Information We Collect

1.1 From Subscribers

• Account information: name, email address, dealership affiliation, billing address.
• Payment information: processed and stored by Stripe; Conscivo does not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: pages viewed, scans run, subscription tier, login timestamps, IP address.

1.2 From Publicly-Accessible Dealership Websites (Targets of Scans)

• Website URL, vendor technology signatures (scripts, cookies, tags).
• Business profile information (phone, address, hours of operation, social media links).
• Staff information displayed on public staff pages (names, titles, department).
• Inventory counts (aggregate, not VIN-level unless the Recall product is in use).

1.3 From Public Records and Third-Party Data Sources

• OEM dealer directories (manufacturer-published lists of franchised dealers).
• Certificate Transparency logs (public SSL certificate metadata).
• NHTSA recall campaign data (for the Recalls product only).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Conscivo Service;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Generate Pulse scores, reports, and peer comparisons for subscribers;
• Send notifications about account activity, billing, and Service updates;
• Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect Service integrity;
• Generate anonymized, aggregated analytics to improve the Service; and
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (see Section 10 for the full list). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the services they provide to us.

3.2 For Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the safety of any person.

3.3 Business Transfers

If Vetora or the Jacobs Family Irrevocable Trust transfers, assigns, or sells Conscivo or its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. Conscivo does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or full payment account details. 5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission;
• Encrypted password storage (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text);
• Secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant);
• JWT (JSON Web Token) based authentication; and
• Regular security reviews and updates.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Maintain your login session and authentication;
• Remember your preferences and filter settings;
• Analyze Service usage to improve the user experience; and
• Support core Service functionality.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect certain Service features and functionality.

Conscivo does not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not serve ads on the Service and do not share your information with advertisers.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements described in Section 9).
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from transactional and marketing email at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Data Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 12. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) days.

8. Children’s Privacy

Conscivo is not intended for users under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under eighteen. If we become aware that a child under eighteen has created an account or provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the account promptly.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account cancellation or termination:

• Voluntary cancellation: Account data is retained for thirty (30) days in case of reactivation, then deleted.
• Termination for policy violations: Account data is deleted immediately. No refund is issued.
• Permanent deletion: Available upon written request. Certain data may be retained as required by law.

After account deletion, some data may be retained for the following purposes:

• Legal compliance and tax records (up to seven years);
• Dispute resolution and arbitration proceedings; and
• Fraud prevention and Service integrity.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing
• SendGrid — transactional email
• Railway — hosting infrastructure (Postgres, Node.js)
• Google Maps — location services on the report page (if used)
• NHTSA — recall data source for the Recalls product

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services. Conscivo is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party providers.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. For significant changes, we will notify you via email. Your continued use of Conscivo after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
